Belgian beer, food and music. Welcome to the best weekend!
Belgium is probably the best kept secret in Europe! Although it may be one of the smaller countries of Europe, it counts an impressive 200 breweries and 1,500 different beers. Add to this the fact that the UNESCO recognised the Belgian beer culture as a Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2016, and you can understand that Belgium is the world's undisputed beer paradise! The ‘Belgian Beer Weekend’ is the finest occasion to explore the Belgian beer culture and traditionally takes place the first weekend of September at the world renowned ‘Grand Place’ in Brussels. The Belgian Beer Weekend made its debut in Japan in 2010 and will travel in 2017 to Nagoya, Yokohama, Osaka, Kanazawa, Sapporo, Sendai, Kobe and Tokyo. Join us for one of the best weekends with great Belgian beers, food and live music!
Explore 89 different beers! The largest selection of Belgian beers in one spot!
For the beer connoisseur we are also offering a selection of unique beers, available in limited quantities. We call these the “BOUTIQUE BEERS” and you can find these special brews at the “BOUTIQUE” stand.
Unfortunately we cannot really tell which boutique beers will be available when, so ask our boutique staff or check hereunder.
Never drink on an empty stomach! After all, Belgian beer is made to match with food!
The Belgians love their fries very much! They take fries extremely serious and have about 5,000 fries stands (or "fritkot") all over the country. We reproduce the "fritkot" at Belgian Beer Weekend to bring you the best fries you have ever tasted, the Belgian way! Operated by Belgian Brasserie Court.
"The Kitchen" brings a wider selection of traditional Belgian items like mussels and sausages to the Belgian Beer Weekend. The menu has been carefully selected by Asahi Food Create and offers very honest tastes.
Grill & beer café Gaarden opened its first shop in Tokyo last year, bringing a relaxing green & tasty casual space to the city center. At the Belgian Beer Weekend, Gaarden offers under its urban casual label a selection of assorted brochettes and burgers. gaarden.jp
