DJ GABAWASH

Hailing from Niigata, GABAWASH began his DJ career in 2010 alongside his work as a dancer.

A devoted vinyl selector, he delivers seamless, dancer-driven sets spanning HIP HOP, R&B, SOUL, FUNK, and DISCO. Drawing from his extensive dance background, his selections are deeply groove-focused and movement-oriented. From underground clubs and refined lounges to major festivals and brand receptions, his performances have taken him across Japan and onto international stages.

Beyond the booth, GABAWASH works with musical instrument manufacturers as a product development advisor and demonstrator. With nearly 20 years in the breaking scene—including involvement in major competitions such as Red Bull BC One—he is more than a DJ or dancer. He is a true product of the culture, where dance, fashion, and music are inseparable parts of everyday life.
