Admission to the Belgian Beer Weekend is free of charge, but to drink you need the original BBW glass and tokens! We recommend buying the STARTER SET.

What is a STARTER SET?

The STARTER SET includes 1 original BBW glass and 13 tokens. With this you can enjoy for example 2 - 3 beers or 2 beers + 1 food item. Ran out of tokens? No problem, you can always buy extra in the venue.

Do children and people who do not consume alcohol need to buy a STARTER SET?

NO! If you do not drink beer, the glass is not required. Tokens (1 token = ¥230) are still required to buy food and soft drinks.

Ticket sales starting 5 March! Presale tickets are available until the start of the events at following times:Hibiya: 4/10 16h00Nagoya: 4/24 16h00Yokohama: 5/8 16h00Fukuoka: 5/14 16h00Osaka: 5/21 16h00Roppongi: 10/1 16h00 Shinjuku: 12/3 16h00)After the start of the events tickets can be purchased online at day ticket price (¥3,990).

Can I buy beer and food with cash or credit/prepaid cards at the beer & food stalls?

NO, we don't accept cash and card payments at the beer & food stalls. Instead, we work with tokens (1 token = ¥230) that can be purchased at the central ticket counters. Thanks to the tokens we reduce lineups, giving you more time to drink & enjoy. Please remember that a STARTER SET already includes 13 tokens.

YES, of course! You just need to buy tokens to get your food.

Can I use an original BBW glass and tokens of past editions?

Accepted Answer

NO! Please note that we exclusively serve beer in the original BBW glass of the current year. We redesign the glass print each year, making it a coveted collectors' item. Also the color of the tokens are changing yearly so tokens of past editions will not be accepted.

Can I use my original BBW glass and tokens at multiple venues?

YES! You can use your original BBW glass & tokens at any venue and day within the current year. Please understand that glasses and tokens of past editions cannot be used.

NO, we cannot refund leftover tokens.

What should I do with my used glass?

Accepted Answer

Well, since you paid for it, the BBW glass is now yours to keep! Please take it home and add it to your collection of BBW glasses, but even more importantly, use it to enjoy your favorite Belgian beer at home. Cheers!

What should I do if I break my glass at the event?

You will need to purchase a new glass as we cannot replace broken glasses.

Besides beer, are there any other beverages available?

The Belgian Beer Weekend is all about Belgian beer, but we also have a selection of soft drinks available. No glass needed for soft drinks, but can only be purchased with tokens.

Can I bring my own drinks & food?

Bringing outside food and beverages to the event is strictly prohibited. However, exceptions will be made for individuals with allergies, children's snacks, and baby food.

NO, we do not provide reserved seating.

Will the event take place in the event of rain or extreme weather conditions?

The event will take place even in the event of rain, as tents have been set up. However, in the event of extreme weather, like typhoons or other stormy weather conditions, opening hours may be changed or the event may be cancelled.In such cases, we will inform you via our website and social media channels (Instagram/Facebook/Twitter).

Can I bring children to the event?

YES, of course! The event is open to everyone. There is also no need to purchase a STARTER SET, but tokens for food and soft drinks are required.Parents are asked to keep an eye on the children :)

Can I bring my pet with me?

Well-behaved pets are welcome at the event, as long as they are kept on a leash or in a cage, and do not disturb other visitors. However, please note that pets are not allowed at the Hibiya Park (Green Field area) and Shinjuku venue.

Is there a smoking area?

Smoking is generally not permitted at the event, in accordance with government smoking rules and regulations. However, some venues may have a designated smoking area for smokers, including e-cigarettes. Please note that smoking in non-smoking areas may result in penalties, and we appreciate your cooperation in respecting the health and comfort of all attendees.

Please note that the event may become crowded during weekends and holidays, but weekdays tend to be less busy. We recommend purchasing your STARTER SET tickets in advance to reduce your waiting and check-in time at the ticket counters.

If you have lost an item at the venue, please do not hesitate to contact our staff for assistance.
