Cosmic Mauve

Cosmic Mauve is a five-member band formed in 2022, consisting of childhood friends.

Influenced by Asian indie, AOR, and city pop, they continue to express the theme of “summer” from various angles. They have gained attention for Kota Nakayama’s (Vo/Gt) fresh and clear vocal style, their tight groove as a band, and the percussion work of Kyosuke Nakata (Per).

Their first release as a band in 2024, “Sunroke,” quickly spread on X and gained traction. It charted on TOKYO HOT 100 for six consecutive weeks, becoming a major topic especially among younger audiences.

Their first self-organized event, “Summerface Landing Plan,” sold out within two hours. In 2025, they also successfully completed a tour across Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, steadily expanding their momentum.

Their warm and refreshing “summer breeze” gently embraces listeners and lingers with them.
